I have dreams of waking during dreams of drinking water.
It seems that something has happened to my wakefulness,
so I wake and walk to the sink for a drink of water.
I drink the water and wait to fall back asleep or wake up from the dream and drink some water.
I think it over;
I ought to go back to bed.
